MOCCA's Story...
Meet Mocca! This unique and sweet looking girl was picked up on 12/11/16 as a stray with ID. Sadly her owners could either not be contacted or choose not to come for her. We do know from the ID that her name is Mocca and what we have noticed in the week she's been here so far is that she is very sweet and loving. She is about 4 years old and weighs 61 lbs. She has a hematoma on ear from what we assume is infections and shaking. It should heal up in time with good care and a little love but will first have to be drained or surgically addressed. She is current on her vaccines and spayed. Upon adoption she will be heartworm tested and micro chipped. Mocca's ID # is 590854 and she can be found in cage 24.

please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MOCCA, a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
