  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Our dear Kennedy, boy did someone do her rotten. She was literally thrown over the fence into our yard here at the rescue. Unbelievable that someone would do that to such a sweetheart. Kennedy is approximately 2 years old black labby girl. She is average lab sized. She is on the higher energy side, but calms right down after a good play session or run. She would make an EXCELLENT hiking or running partner. She LOVES LOVES LOVES the water. She absolutely loves everyone that she meets and had never met a stranger. This girl deserves a family who will never treat her like her previous family did.
Kennedy is currently being fostered in Tennessee, but is available to be transported via a professional transport to the Northeast. Her adoption fee is $275.00 and the transport fee is $145.00. If you are interested in learning more about Kennedy please email us at brighthopeadoptions@gmail.com and you will receive a auto reply with has a link to our online adoption application.

About Bright Hope Animal Rescue - D.C. Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small 501C3 non profit rescue based out of East Tennessee. Our goal is to get the dogs out of the South where euthanasia rates are the highest.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step to adoption is to send us an email to receive a link to our online application. Once the application is received, it will be followed up by a phone interview if we feel that your home could potentially be a good fit for one of our dogs. The phone interview will be followed up by vet and personal reference checks as well as a home interview. Our adoption donations are between $275-$300 and there is a transport fee of $145. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.
