My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is one of the sweetest girls we have ever had. She is 4 yrs old, and just released from a puppy mill. Poor baby has been picked on by 2 older girls, and she is missing some hair on her back. She is still sweet, and gets along with everyone. She would be a great dog for older kids. She is just a tad shy at first, but very affectionate after she spends a little time with you We do not charge an adoption fee, but do ask a donation to reimburse for our medical and transport expenses. That is usually $450 for an adult dog, $650 for puppy under 1 year, and reduced amounts for senior and special needs dogs. Now that we are officially a 501c3 charity, all donations are tax deductible Each dog will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (negative, unless stated otherwise), treated for parasites, and up to date on shots. While we are vigilant to get everyone as healthy as possible before we send them off to start their new lives, it is to be expected that, after the stress of traveling across the country from Kansas, (where our dogs are rehabilitated), and going to a new home, they will probably need to be retreated for parasites. We want to stress that your new friend needs to be seen by your veterinarian within the first week of arrival. We absolutely guarantee a happy adoption, or you MUST return the dog and we will undo the contract. If you are not happy, the dog is not happy, and we are not happy. We are in this to make the dogs happy. You may find some of our previously adopted dogs on our 'Happy Tails' page on this website.
