Cherry's Story...
This little face belongs to Cherry, a female rat terrier mix about 6-8 months old. Yes, she has heeler markings and is just beautiful =) She's a little gal at about 10-15 pounds and won't be getting much bigger. Cherry gets along good with other dogs, cats and kids. She likes to play and is still in her puppy stage so would need all the training that comes with bringing a new puppy home. She is kennel trained and has had some work with house training but will need a family committed to helping her along with gentle and consistent training. She walks ok on a leash but would need some more work with that as well to be the best she can be. She is not a yappy puppy and would do well in an apartment or a house as long as she gets adequate exercise. If you are interested in meeting Cherry please email us for an application today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherry, a Olympia Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
