Callaway's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Callaway's Story...
Callaway is a very cute, sweet little boy. About a year old, front paw declawed, loves his beagle doggie girlfriend. He was found as a very tiny kitten at a dumpster at a school. The coach took him home and he's been fixed, up to date on shots, but they just had a infant and the coaches wife isn't a fan of kitties and fur around the baby. So Callaway needs to find a home, probably with another pet who is used to cats. A dog who likes cats would be great as you can see from his photos. His fur is thick and just starting to get a thicker coat around his mane. He is friendly and is a little jealous of the new baby getting all the attention. He'd be ok around kids ten or older, but we think he's used to getting the bulk of the attention. A non smoking home where he will be indoor only is what we are looking for, for his permanent home. A trial adoption we will do first to make sure everyone involved is happy. Call or text us at 517 294 4514 to learn more and meet him. He's pretty big for a one year old so he will most likely be a larger kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callaway, a Ypsilanti Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Ypsilanti, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Ypsilanti.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ypsilanti already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ypsilanti breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ypsilanti paves the way for another one to be saved.
