Hi, my name is Amber. Wandering the streets, I was so sad and alone! Now the nice folks at Adopt-A-Pet have taken me in and I'm safe and warm in my new foster home. My foster mom tells me every day that someone will come to love me. Could you be my someone? I'm a nice girl with my own little complex personality. I will rub on your legs and sit in your lap to be brushed and petted. But, I will also let you know when I've had enough by giving you little love nibbles. I mean, yes, I really do love to sit in your lap, but a cat's got other things to do too! I'm too adventurous to just sit in your lap ALL day. Maybe a dustball behind the sofa needs to be attacked. And I certainly don't want to miss that moment when the sunbeam is shining through the window so I can lay on the floor right in the center of it and take a sun bath. Or maybe it's just time for my afternoon nap.
I'm a beautiful tortoiseshell tabby, and see that cool mark on my forehead? That's the mark of royalty! I'm still very young, only about 1 1/2 years old, so I'm looking for a family that will give me a FOREVER home.
Oh, and before I forget, let me tell you about my foster sister Tootsie Roll. Yes, I admit, it took me some time to get used to her, but after a while I realized she's really not so bad, so now we are buddies and we play together. I would be nice if I could get adopted with her. I mean, we're like a ready-made pair.
But if all you wanted to adopt was ME, I'm fine with that too! Really what it comes down to is I just want a warm lap to sit in again. Any lap will do. I’m ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to laps. So if your lap is available, we just might be the right fit for each other. Why not come meet me and see!"
My adoption fee of $115 includes: vet exam, Feleuk/FIV testing, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, flea control, routine deworming, microchip and spay.
