My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a 5 year old corgi-chihuahua mix. He is still a bit overweight but with a good diet plan (shhhh don't tell him) He should be able to lose his remaining excess pounds over the next few months! Currently he weighs about 16 pounds. Jake is a sweet dog, but very nervous/hesitant around new people. He was never abused in any way and we have not seen any aggression, just hesitation. Once he knows his person though - look out - he warms up and wants nothing but love from you! He does fine with other dogs, but would also be quite happy as an only dog. We do recommend a home that is quiet with no small children as ideal for him, just because he seems to be happiest when he is relaxed and can trust. If you are willing to take a chance on Jake, we are certain you will be rewarded 1,000 times over!


Adoption fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, USDA transport, vaccines, health certificate and Massachusetts mandatory animal quarantine.
