(Updated 04/06/17) Meet Moana . . . a darling loveable Bichon Frise mix. Sweet, very positive, a lively female with a beautiful non-shedding curly white coat and big brown eyes that give evidence of her happy trusting nature. Moana weighs 13 pounds and she is young, born, we are guessing, sometime in 2015. Just like her namesake, Moana is adventurous and determined in her quest to find a forever family of her very own. This little princess was picked up as a stray so we know nothing about her other than what we have observed since she arrived at the Safehouse on 12/16/2016. Moana has a very playful personality and enjoys the company of children and other small young dogs. Unfortunately, she does suffer from acute separation anxiety and cannot be left alone for more than a very short period of time. A very spirited energetic youngster, she loves to play and chase and run and jump and BARK!! Moana will require a fenced in yard and a home with another small friendly doggy playmate. She sleeps in the same room as her caregiver, either in the bed or in a crate. Moana loves toys (she carries them everywhere), treats, car rides and going for walks. She is good-natured, gentle, well mannered and wants to please; appears to be housetrained but will need time and patience to adjust to your home and schedule. A healthy youngster, full of life and ready for a forever family that has the energy to keep up with her spirited activity level. Moana is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and she has had a complete physical and dental. Her adoption fee is $350.
