My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sabrina is a one-year-old black female cat. Sabrina was found in a backyard with four kittens, and the resident was alarmed at how thin, dirty and scared she was. The resident brought Sabrina and two of her kittens to us, as they could keep two of the kittens. Sabrina was an excellent mama cat, and now that her other two babies are in safe and loving homes, it’s Sabrina’s turn! Sabrina, on first approach, will sniff your hand, then willingly cuddle with you. She’s slowly but surely losing her bad memories of living and surviving outside, and is turning into a sweet feline. Sabrina has beautiful golden eyes and a gorgeous black coat. If you’re looking to give and receive love, Sabrina’s the girl for you!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 3 pm. We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon – hope to see you there! We're also happy to set up appointments.
