Peso (Courtesy Post)'s Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Peso (Courtesy Post)'s Story...
Meet handsome Peso! He is four years old and was rescued from Mexico.

Peso is looking for a home with only adults and with someone who has experience with terriers. He is friendly with other dogs, very playful with larger dogs, and would do best in a home without cats.

If you can give Peso a forever home and are willing to go to classes and maybe even agility with him, he will be a loving and loyal companion. He is affectionate and sweet and will make a great family member.

Peso is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He has no health issues and has tons of energy, so he would make a great hiking companion.

If you are interested in adopting Peso, please contact us at lorna@bfp.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peso (Courtesy Post), a Valley Village Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Valley Village, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Valley Village.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley Village already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley Village breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley Village paves the way for another one to be saved.
