My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pickles, one of our new rescue arrivals! After spending her life with one owner who grew too old to take care of her, Pickles found her way to our rescue in the hopes of finding another home to keep her warm and loved in her golden years. Pickles is the kind of girl without much mystery – when she wants your attention, she doesn’t play hard to get, preferring instead to chat it up and tell you with her words, and when she wants you to pet her she has no qualms about reaching out… again.. and again.. and again… with an eager paw to let you know she’s in the mood for love! Pickles didn’t take long to become a kennel favorite, as we have all fallen for her adorable antics like the way she drools when she’s happy, or when she is teaching her favorite banana-shaped catnip toy who’s boss (spoiler alert – it’s Pickles). With sparkling green eyes and a tail that twitches to show that she is happy with you (which is to say nearly nonstop), Pickles spends her afternoons “making bread” (kneading) and cuddling in the arms of her adoring staff. At fifteen years old, Pickles would be so grateful for another chance to connect with a special someone who is as special as she is, and to share the love that she has in endless supply. When it comes to sweet little gray older ladies who are snuggly and affectionate, Pickles has it all… now she wants a forever home of her own, and who could be more deserving?

Pickles is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Please call 206-557-4661 for more information on Pickles!
