Birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim, and I need to run, play, run, and play some more! If you adopt me, please be certain that it will be for my entire life. Like many large dogs who are abandoned in their adolescence, no one ever took the time to show me the ABC’s of good doggy behaviour. Actually, I was given up because when I got bored – and I had lots of time to get bored – I ate “stuff”. I ended up needing surgery. A cage is a safe place for me after I have been well exercised and for just a few hours but not all day. Geez, get a canary! I am keen and geared up to learn how to be a well-behaved dog; I know that my future depends on it. Obedience training classes should definitely be in the stars for me; I still have plenty to learn, and I am ready to step up to the plate! Show me how to be the dog you always wanted and I’ll do the rest —you bring the treats! Since I am still young, I’m on the lookout for a home where I won’t spend the entire day on my own. So far I enjoy chewing Kongs and Nylabones, going for long walks (pulling like a train), and I think playing fetch is the best thing ever. I would prefer being your one and only dog; I need a proper introductions to new canine friends –obedience training will help. I dream of a life as a family dog – a place where I will eat good food, sleep on a comfy bed, and play a lot. Would it be your home?
