Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS A COURTESY POST.
Bella and Brewsier: A true love story!
These pups managed to stay together for who knows how long they were stray for! We spent the day washing them, feeding them, and getting them comfortable for the night. They were very skinny, with road burns on their elbows from the hot pavement. We decided we did not want to bring them to the shelter. I had the room in my backyard and there was no need to put them through being separated, placed in kennels, and potentially euthanized. The night they were rescued, they were curled up together and Brewsier (The big goofy white guy) licked Bella’s (The elegant brown little lady) face until they went to bed. Here is some info from their rescuer!
Age: Unknown (guessing maybe 6)
Good with other dogs/cats: Great with good Samaritan's cat, they have interacted with one small dog and it was a good interaction.
Kids: They haven't had much interactions while living with their rescuer, but they seem to be perfectly friendly with small humans!
Ideal house: The ideal house would be a place where they could be together (I joke they are one dog sometimes because they are so low maintenance and are such a perfect pair). That being said, it would be best if they had a fenced in yard to hang out in (Brewsier does bark at passerby’s but is not aggressive). Preferably with a family or someone who will really care for them. They love hikes and long walks!
Both pups are off the leash trained, potty trained, come and stay, heel on walks, can sit, and give paw. Some of the best behaved/trained dogs I have personally come in contact with (the vet even mentioned how well behaved they were)!
Brewsier: He is absolutely infatuated with Bella. He grooms her all the time and cuddles her every night. He’s the ultimate gentleman. He is the sweetest, most loyal guy ever. He loves chasing hose water!. He loves playing fetch! He’s a big lovable hunk! He doesn’t need much attention, just a big bowl of fresh water and his Bella, and he will be happy!
Bella: Bella loves attention! I almost called her Belly because whenever she gets the chance, she flops over on her back and wiggles till you give her belly rubs. Everyone who has met her has adored her cute ways of trying to get pet. All she wants is love!
These pups are now healthy, and ready to find a forever home of their own! If you can give a home to BOTH of these lovable, bonded pups, please email us at LastHopeRescueFL@gmail.com!
