Buddy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Buddy's Story...
Buddy is estimated to be one year old. He loves to wrestle with his foster sister. He currently weighs 60 plus pounds and I wouldn't be surprised if he reaches 75lbs with a good steady diet. Buddy thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to be VERY close to his humans. He has had a rough start in life. He is house trained and does follow a treat into the crate. We are unsure of cats at this time. He is HW+ and is being treated at this time. For more information please contact ireneb@boxertransfer.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Westminster Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
