This 80lb 5 year old American Bulldog mix came to us from GA. He was heartworm positive and was at risk for euthanasia. Merle is a sweet, gentle giant. He loves spending time and be with his humans. He is very loyal. His absolute favorite thing to do is being petted. He chooses pets over treats every time! He gets excited when experiencing new things but reverts quickly back to his normal sweet self. He can sometimes be timid, especially when meeting new people or dogs but warms up quickly. Sometimes in new situations, he may need time to adjust slowly to new things. Merle is just the sweetest, most gentle and loving dog. He is good with dogs and cats. Merle had just completed his heartworm treatment and is ready to find his forever home. If you are looking for a low key loyal companion, Merle is the guy for you.
