General information
Pearly is a smart, lovable pup who is really easy-going. She loves playing with other dogs, and especially likes to interact with people. She can get along with any age group, and since she is really good at adapting, she does not feel nervous in a new environment, and can easily blend in.
Pearly is very smart and obedient. She would not rush ahead when on leash, and she understands the command to sit and to shake hands. Pearly likes to drink water so she urinates quite often, on average at least once every 8 hours. Sometimes when she is too happy or excited she may pounce on you a little bit, but a simple "no" will be enough to stop her.
Since Pearly is still very young, she is quite energetic. But she would also lay quietly by your side when she is done playing. (She likes to play catch with a ball and can return the ball to you!)
This is Pearly, lovely, innocent, fun-loving and smart. Once you meet her you will feel her love and in turn will fall in love with this wonderful pup.
Rescue Story
On a chilly, windy day, four-month old Pearly was abandoned at a feeding ground established by some volunteers. She sat helplessly by the road side, not knowing what to do. When a volunteer saw her, she was being attacked by a bunch of dogs because she was really hungry and was trying to get some food. The volunteer worried that she would be hurt, so she brought her home temporarily and arranged for her to be spayed. She also posted her story on line for 7 days, hoping to find her a permanent home. The plan was if Pearly did not get adopted, the volunteer would release her back to where she found her after her wounds were healed. We heard about her story, and felt that this poor four month old pup did not possess the ability to compete in a wild world, so we took her over and named her Pearly, hoping that this pearl like name can bring her some good luck.
