My name is Kama. I lost one of my front legs but love my life.
I was born in Iran. I am about 1.5 years old. I am already neutered and potty trained. I am not sure my breed but I kind of look like Husky/Shep/Collie mix. I am about 50-55 lbs. I am very good with other dogs, can play and run just like them with my three legs. I have no problem with stairs. I flew from Tehran, Iran to Los Angeles in early December 2016 because a kind lady stepped up to be my foster and contacted my Iranian Rescue team. But I had never lived with cats and chased the lady's cats... so she contacted DOGzHAUS Rescue for help. DOGzHAUS Rescue welcomed me and has helped me to look for my forever home. I was tested with cats again... and I did not chase. I just wanted to play with them but start ignoring them now as a training.
Please watch my video, and you will know I am not so different from 4 legged dogs.
Here are some pictures of me.

I am very sweet and love even a stranger. I can bark when people walking by but I wag my tail and give a kiss if they say hi to me. I am not a barker. I behave well in a pack and love exercise. Please consider to open your space and welcome me. I need my forever home.
If you are interested in me, please go to www.dogzhaus.org and fill out the adoption application. Once my rescue people receive your application, they will contact you and schedule a meet and greet. So I can meet you and I hope you like me.

About DOGzHAUS Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

DOGzHAUS (pronounced as DOG HOUSE) is a small, Los Angeles based CA registered non profit dog rescue organization that was formed to give a second chance to the shelter dogs. We are a 501(c)(3) rescur group and your donations are tax deductible.100% of your donations benefit our rescue dogs. The organization is run by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and adoption fees.

All our dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on their shots and micro chipped before being adopted. While at the rescue, medical care is provided for each dog based on their individual needs. We can't guarantee the future health of the dog, and adopters are encouraged to take the dog to their own veterinarian for a thorough exam.

Our Goal:
*Rescuing dogs from life threatening situations at animal shelters and elsewhere.
*Finding their permanent loving homes with qualified owners.
*Assisting owners of dogs who can no longer keep them to find them new homes.
*Educating the public about the advantages of adopting dogs from shelters and rescue organizations, and about the need for spaying and neutering dogs.
*Educating dog owners and prospective owners with dogs about their proper care and training, and about other aspects of each breed.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please contact us for the adoption application form. All dogs adopted through us are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and microchipped. Because the minimum adoption donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask our adopters to help us spread the word about the important work that we do. Our adoption donation minimum is $250 for adult medium to large dogs, $200 for small adult dogs, $275 for puppies 1 year and under (any size) and $180 seniors 8 years and older.
