My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Kama. I lost one of my front legs but love my life.
I was born in Iran. I am about 1.5 years old. I am already neutered and potty trained. I am not sure my breed but I kind of look like Husky/Shep/Collie mix. I am about 50-55 lbs. I am very good with other dogs, can play and run just like them with my three legs. I have no problem with stairs. I flew from Tehran, Iran to Los Angeles in early December 2016 because i was not safe in the country. I got a chance to have American Dream and live safely as a dog. DOGzHAUS Rescue welcomed me and has helped me to look for my forever home. I made some new doggie friends here in LA. I was tested with cats ... and I did not chase. I just wanted to play with them but I am very active so my foster mom said I still need a time to be totally okay with cats in the house.
Please watch my video, and you will know I am not so different from 4 legged dogs.
I am very sweet and love even a stranger. I can bark when people walking by but I will wag my tail and give a kiss if they say hi to me. I am not a barker but I am vocal like Husky breed. I behave well in a pack and love to play... but I was told I was too playful and rough.. so I need more training to behave better. I get excited when I meet a dog on the street so I can walk with an experienced dog owner/handler only. I love exercise. I am still young and need a lot of exercise and play time. My foster gives me a daily run. I need someone who is very active and can continue providing me a training. When I was rescued, I was not so domesticated but I have been learning a lot and having a weekly professional training. I am still required to continue a training even after the adoption. Please consider to open your space and welcome me. I need my forever home.
If you are interested in me, please go to www.dogzhaus.org and fill out the adoption application. Once my rescue people receive your application, they will contact you and schedule a meet and greet. So I can meet you and I hope you like me.
