Marley's Story...
Meet Marley.
His story started off very sad - but things are looking good for him now and all he needs is a forever home to make his dreams come true.
Marley was brought to the shelter many months ago as a 4 month old puppy. He has a severe trauma to his head and was in need of medical care. Sadly - the rescue that 'saved' him from the shelter did not get him the expensive surgery he needed (to remove broken and rotten bone fragments and teeth). He waited and waited for nearly 6 months with this other rescue - but they did kept postponing surgery.
Finally - he made his way to Love Leo and we rushed him to the vet for surgery. He came through surgery like a star and is feeling so much better now.
He is now in a training program to learn basic manners. He does well with other dogs and is good with cats too. He does have some slight vision problems due to his old injury but that does not interfere with him being happy, goofy dog.
He is patiently waiting for his forever home. For more information on Marley please email us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a santa monica Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in santa monica, or seeking a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in santa monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in santa monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a santa monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in santa monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
