This is Georgia. This beautiful girl found herself in a really scary situation. She had 5 pups to protect and ended up in a kill shelter. She was stressed about her babies and trying to keep herself healthy. We rescued Georgia and her five pups and all are healthy and happy now. Georgia is young...probably about 2 years old and will be ready for a home in mid January. She is a bit cautious but very loving once given a chance. Please give Georgia a loving home she deserves and put this sad ordeal behind her. Apply at Adoption fee: $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Oakland Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
