Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Puca is a beautiful 6 year old pit bull that just had her world turned upside down. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when this sweet, loving girl was turned in the day after Christmas by her family that were heartbroken to have to give her up. Sadly, they lost their home and could no longer keep Puca, who has been with them since she was just a puppy. It's a terribly sad scenario and one that we wish didn't have to happen. Puca is trying so hard to make the best of things and hopes to get into a great new home real soon. She is a positively wonderful dog, there's no two ways about it. She's a real family dog that has been raised with children and is just great with them. Puca never lived with other pets or has had much exposure to them but when passing by other dogs, she seems perfectly fine. She is housebroken, so well behaved, and very gentle with taking treats. She is strong on a leash but calms right down after walking for a few minutes. She has no shyness about her and after knowing you for only a minute or two, she'll be begging you for attention. She does the wiggle-butt dance when she scratch her back and though she's a bit down and not interested in playing right now, she does perk up when she sees a toy. Please consider giving our pretty Puca the wonderful home that she definitely belongs in. File#26923 12/26/16
