Bess's Story...
This sweet litter of pups was surrendered to us from someone so they could be vetted and placed in loving homes! The pups are about 11 weeks old and are so laid back and happy! They love to play and just hang out in the yard or on their beds on the floor! They are doing great on housebreaking already and get along great with other dogs. They are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add one of these beauties to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bess, a Staunton Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
