Jax & Lola's Story...
Adoption Application Required: Complete online at
Adoption Fee: $125 for both
Jax & Lola are a pair of ferrets who are close to 3 years old. They were adopted out a year ago and returned because of landlord issues. Jax is a deep chocolate boy and Lola is a little albino lady. Jax is laidback with people and love cuddles, but he WILL beat up any ferret other than his partner. Lola is feisty and active. They would be best in a home with no other ferrets, and would be great "first-time owner" ferrets. If you have enough heart to accept a pair that are a little bit older, but not senior, Jax and Lola would love a furever home.
All FACT ferrets come with current canine distemper and rabies vaccinations. Most are also microchipped for permanent ID. They are trained to use newspaper. We do not recommend ferrets to families with children under 6 years old.
Thanks for planning to adopt your next pet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax & Lola, a Hartford Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
