for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Mickey's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mickey's Story...
Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

Mickey wants to be the next member of your family! He is an adorable little pup that just wants somebody to love. He is approximately 10 weeks old and does well with cats, kids, and other dogs. Mickey and his sister, Minnie, were found abandoned on a gravel road so we have no way of knowing anything about his background or his breed and therefore cannot guess what his weight and size will be when he is fully grown. His breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. His adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances is a rescue organization based out of Pontotoc, Mississippi which adopts dogs and puppies all over the Northeastern United States. All of our dogs and puppies are kept in private foster homes in Mississippi until adopted. Our dogs are NEVER in a facility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mickey, a Kittery Feist puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist for sale in Kittery, or seeking a Feist puppy from a breeder in Kittery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kittery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kittery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist breeders who help with Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kittery paves the way for another one to be saved.
