Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

Russell wants to be the next member of your family! He is a terrific dog that just wants somebody to love. He is approximately one year old, well behaved, and has great leash manners. Russell is good natured and does well with cats, kids, and other dogs. He is an active, young guy and loves to go for walks. Russell tested positive for heartworms but he is currently undergoing treatment. He will be healthy and ready to travel by May 1st. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Pet Express transport services upon adoption. His adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances is a rescue organization based out of Pontotoc, Mississippi which adopts dogs and puppies all over the Northeastern United States. All of our dogs and puppies are kept in private foster homes in Mississippi until adopted. Our dogs are NEVER in a facility.
