My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dempsey is a very handsome, young adult male from the Bay City Pound. Your first thought when looking at Dempsey is Great Dane mix. Then he displays his Boxer wiggle and you realize what that docked tail is all about. Outside he leaps and runs like a Dane. Dempsey currently weighs 66 pounds and is a underweight for his breed and size--his foster mom is making sure this big boy gets the nutrition he needs. Dempsey is housebroken and friendly. He is learning to play with toys and other dogs. He has been exposed to teenage boys, elementary school kids, other dogs and one cat. Dempsey tolerates a bath just fine but does not care for loud noises. He is working on basic commands and is eager to please. If you like them large, this may be the dog for you! He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on vaccinations. Dempsey tested positive for heartworms and is beginning treatment with a proven, slow kill method.
