Dolce's Story...
La dolce vita. The sweet life. That's what we promised our Dolce from the moment she became a member of the One More Dog pack and she's making it really easy! This lovely 5ish year old, 52 pound Boxer girl is perfect in every way and we're not big on the word perfect around here. She loves everyone, adults and kiddos, other dogs, large and small, and yes, even cats. Though feline friends should be savvy because Dolce thinks playing and "boxing" with them is great fun. Surrendered to a high kill shelter simply because her family was moving, Dolce was clearly loved by her previous owners. While she needs to gain a few pounds, she is well-mannered, extremely social and a total goofball. She walks well on a leash, is totally potty trained and does well in her crate, though she does protest initially. Pretty much any home would be the right home for Dolce as long as you are ready for slobbery Boxer kisses, non-stop nub wiggles and the world's best head tilt when treats are involved. Sweet Dolce is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. Guarantee yourself the sweet life and apply to adopt our perfect girl. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolce, a Wethersfield Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Wethersfield, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Wethersfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wethersfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wethersfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wethersfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
