Abby is delightful little year old girl who came into our rescue in November. She is ten years old and is a petite little girl, weighing just nine pounds. She has a bubbly personality and prances when she walks. She likes to be outside in nice weather and walks well on a leash. Her dainty paws are OK in the snow, but she does her business quickly and wants to go back in on cold or rainy days. She looks adorable in her pink coat that she wears in the wintry weather.
It takes a bit for Abby to warm up to strangers, but once she does, she rolls over and wants her belly rubbed. She prefers to be near her foster mom at all times and sleeps all night with her in her bed. She is a quiet, sweet little girl who will make a wonderful companion for someone who is home most of the day, and doesn’t have small children or a lot of noisy activities. Although Abby has met several neighborhood dogs while outside, it has been too cold for much interaction, so we’re not certain how much she enjoys them. But she is really curious about the calm and respectful cats that she has met.
Abby is in excellent health and recently had her teeth cleaned. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and is on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Her adoption fee is $120.00 plus $8.73 sales tax for a total of $128.73. Her foster mom prefers that Abby find a permanent home within 50 miles of the Twin Cities, and asks that the owners commit to coming to the annual Shih Tzu reunion held each fall.
