Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Radar came to us as a stray and has shown that he can't get enough of people! He is a sweet boy who can be shy at first sniff...after that it is nothing but love! Radar is a very loving boy who can't wait to find his forever family this holiday season and we can't wait too! Radar has developed a lot of anxiety in his kennel. Taking a walk back to view our dog kennels can be intimidating as Radar does all sorts of things for you to notice him to take him out. But with some work, Radar is a great dog. He loves to play in the run as long as someone is out there with him, and long walks really do him wonders. He acts like a different dog! If you have experience handling dogs and aren't intimidated by bad kennel behavior, please volunteer with us to get him some of that much needed time away from his kennel. Just a few minutes daily to get him outside, throw the ball or a good leash walk around our facility. With time, Radar will put on his best behavior and find his forever home. Radar really does love people and has a great personality once outside of the loud kennels. He just needs that special person that has time in their lives to give him all the attention and exercise that he deserves to find him and fall in love. Radar is estimated to be 1-2 years old and around 50 pounds. He is current on all his vaccines, is neutered and heartworm negative. If you think you may want to be Radar's special person please give us a call at 757-365-6318 or email animalservices@isleofwightus.net
