Piper's Story...
Piper is a female, 4 1/2 years old (12/2016), Daschund/Minature Schnauzer mix. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed. Piper came to GGOH as a Humane Society pull from the Twin Cities. Saddest part of her story, she was pulled from another high-kill shelter in another state only to end up on the HS euth list in MN. We don't have the full story on Piper but from what we have seen in the time she has been with us, she is a total sweetheart! She has lots of energy, is full of spunk and loves attention. Piper is ready and waiting for her new forever home - could she be the one you are looking for? Stop in today to meet this sweetie but be ready for lots of tail wagging and kisses!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a New Richmond, Dachshund/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in New Richmond,, or seeking a Dachshund/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in New Richmond,.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond, already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond, breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Dachshund/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond, paves the way for another one to be saved.
