Blue is a well-mannered, big ole' pit bull mix who is about 4 years old. He has a calm temperament, is housebroken and very obedient. Blue did live with children and is recommended for kids 10 years of age and older. He was surrendered to us through no fault of his own and he was very loved in his prior home. Big Blue is a beautiful dog who is deserving of a good life, indoors, and with a family who will love him unconditionally. If you are looking for your new best friend please stop in and ask to meet Blue; he'll make a loyal and loving family companion dog.

About The Voorhees Animal Orphanage

About Our Shelter...

The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space.
We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.
