Lavender is unsure at first, but if she likes you, will become super friendly and will love to be held. Lavender was under-socialized when younger so can be reactive at first with new people or dogs, especially being feisty with new big dogs she needs to "prove" herself around. But she quickly warmed up to her foster mom's dog and cat. She will need a new owner who will continue to socialize her and manage her introductions and interactions with strangers. She is super quirky, and does a belly crawl to your lap to get petted. She rides well in the car and walks well on a leash. She is good with cats as long as they are gentle with her. Due to her small size and socialization level, we will not place Lavender in a home with children under 10 years of age. Despite her small size, Lavender will need a home that will train her, give her enough exercise, and give her training as she grows up to be an adult dog in a few years.
Lavender's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, microchip, up-to-date basic vaccines, and up-to-date rabies vaccine. Even though the rescue is based in Eastern Washington, Lavendar is in foster in the Seattle area.
