Russell's Story...
Riley and Russell are wire-haired terrier mixes around a year old. They were rescued from a hoarding situation. We pulled them from a shelter where they were very timid and unsocialized. They have blossomed in their foster home. They are learning how great it is to be a dog! They are crate trained, working on walking skills and doing great with potty training.

Riley loves to play! He is very inquisitive and is learning how to fetch. Russell is a snuggler! He loves to lay on his people. He is a bit shy initially, but once he trusts (it only takes a few minutes), he will come for affection.

They are bonded and would love a home together.

To help Russell get acclimated to his new home, the adoption fee includes one complimentary training session for adopters that live in Macomb County and some areas of Oakland County.

The adoption fee is $175 and includes: neuter, microchip and vaccines

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Russell, a Rochester Hills Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
