Hi I'm Rusty! I'm an older gentleman with a quirky personality. I am 5 1/2 years old. I am front declawed, neutered and up to date on my shots. I was found living outside with access to a garage, but with no way to defend myself without my front claws. I lived outside most of my adult life so I'm adjusting to life indoors. I co-exist with my foster moms' 3 cats. Since I'm not a big fan of other felines, I just ignore them. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Rusty, please contact his foster, Sheri L at 419-343-6092.

Special Notes:
*** FRONT DECLAWED *** The adoption fee is 50% off when Humans 50+ years or older adopt a Cat 5 years or older.

About Planned Pethood, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We invite you to read About Us and what makes Planned Pethood difference from many other rescues. YOu can do so here: http://www.plannedpethood.org/about/

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have several adoption events a week at various locations. Check out our calendar for details here: http://www.plannedpethood.org/events/ .

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
