My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladybug was a stray dog found scared and hiding under a container trashcan. After a week of feeding her fresh cooked chicken, her original foster began to gain her trust. As her foster was driving away that day, Ladybug came chasing after the car. Her foster stopped the car, opened the door, made her some space, left the car door open and walked away. She jumped into the car and her journey to find the perfect home began.

Ladybug is 57-pound, 5-year-old, smaller Staffordshire female, who has spent the two years being trained to the point where she is excellent with people and dogs that she is familiar with (i.e. other dogs that she lives with). She is uncomfortable around dogs she does not know and therefore, introduction to new dogs need to be done slowly over time. She is micro-chipped, up-to-date with shots including rabies, spayed and completely healthy.

In 2013, at age two-and-a-half, she was adopted out to a wonderful adopter. However, the adopter has fallen into hard times and can no longer care for her. When she was with this adopter, her role was to be a family pet.

Ladybug is now back in her original foster home and would be a wonderful addition to the right family. She needs to find a home that understands the importance of continuing her training. She is extremely sweet to her family, very loyal, knows her commands, such as Sit, Down, and Stay, and is completely crate-trained. She has been professionally trained to walk on a leash. Come meet this beautiful and wonderful little Ladybug! If you are interested in this sweet and amazing girl, contact Irene at dkdane2@gmail.com or call 310-766-5665.
