Tod's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tod's Story...
Tod is a 1 year old male chihuahua/min pin mix. He weighs 12.6 pounds.
Tod is crate trained and almost housebroken.
He is very friendly and playful. Tod loves to give kisses when you hold him. He was found as a stray by GCAC with a broken femur. After having extensive surgery he is now just like new. He gets along with all the dogs he meets and he tries to play with the cats in his foster home, but they are too snooty to appease him.

Tod is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, treated with dewormer and flea and heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tod, a Flushing Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
