Lone Star's Story...
Lone Star is a young Aussie / Heeler mix girl about 6 months old. She has 2 beautiful baby blue eyes. Star has a white with slate colored coat. She has some ticking, but has one slate colored eye and a white abstract falling star on her side (you have to use your imagination to see this.) Her Mom, Macey, is a black Heeler mix. Lone Star is currently sharing a yard at HALAH with her Mom and Sister, Blue Spring.

Lone Star is currently only available for adoption at the HALAH grounds in Godley.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lone Star, a Godley Anatolian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Godley, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Godley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Godley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Godley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Godley paves the way for another one to be saved.
