Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sassy (Sassafras). Sassy is about two years old; she has been felv/fiv tested (negative), vaccinated, and spayed. Sassy was given up because after she had kittens the owners decided that they'd rather have the kittens than Sassy. Sassy can be sassy so we kept her name as it seemed to match her.
In the year that she has been in her foster home, her personality has really blossomed. Sure, she is still a little sassy but she has become quite entertaining. She loves to play in paper bags (even if filled with groceries or recycling) and boxes - it seems the smaller the better for her to curl up inside. She loves to watch the birds and squirrels at the feeder and when they move she quickly ducks down so they dont see her. Sassy loves to play and play - of course - she's a young cat. She particularly loves to play in the cat tunnels and also to race through the house. She also likes to play with catnip filled toys and cat dancers that she can chase and jump. Initially Sassy wasn't fond of the other cats in the foster home but she has grown to tolerate them. While she is not best friends, they coexist. She does however love to play with younger cats or cats that don't challenge her and she has the best time chasing and playing rough and tumble with them. She is very friendly with people. She doesn't care to be picked up or held but will love to sit by you. She is okay with well mannered dogs.
Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c) (3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens. Cause for Paws fosters these cats in our own private homes, we don't have a central facility. To find out more, please email Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com or call us at 952-259-1483. The adoption fee is $140. Thank you.
