Jerzee's Story...
Meet Jerzee!

This stunning girl is about 2 years old, house trained, good with other dogs and kids. We aren't exactly sure of her mix, but she definitely has lab features (think body and coat). Jerzee is a loving and silly girl, who enjoys walks and getting outdoors. She is an excellent couch cuddle buddy too! Jerzee would make an excellent hiking or running companion also. She is about 50 lbs and in excellent physical shape. Jerzee loves kids and is very gentle with them. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, but gets excited by bunnies and squirrels, so cats are most likely a no.

A home check, contract and adoption fee is required to adopt Jerzee.

Please contact adopt@thearkanimalrescue.org for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerzee, a Mission Viejo Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
