My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MARSH is a 4 year old neutered yellow male Lab who weighs 64 pounds. Dec 30, 2016: Marsh is a gorgeous boy who has been waiting for a family for a long time. He recently attended and graduated from the Happy Hounds Prison Program for training and did very well. Marsh doesn't like other dogs jumping in his face. He's not the type of dog that will enjoy going to a dog park. He prefers to bond with his humans and go for long walks instead. He will need an experienced adopter who will recognize that he doesn't want to meet every dog that they see. He has learned many commands and will listen to his handler attentively. Marsh will do best as an only dog in a family where he can be the center of attention. He would like this family to stay home with him part of the day, so maybe someone who works from home or isn't gone for a long workday and can play with him and his toys. Marsh is full of love to offer. He absolutely loves to snuggle and go for car rides. He gets excited thinking about what his next adventure may be. If you're looking to bond with a dog, Marsh would be a good candidate. Because of his prey drive, he's not good with cats.Marsh will need a physical fence. Approved for kids 10+.
