My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Holly is a sweet 3 year old 18 pound Pug-Weenie or Pug-Dachshund mix. Maybe she is a Pughund? Whatever you call her, she is a sweet and affectionate doggie. Holly was a stray at a local animal control facility. When we got her, she had "cherry eyes"--those red bulges in the corners of her eyes and HEARTWORMS. Yikes!! But, no worries. She has had her eyes fixed and her heartworms are on their way out.. Holly is feeling great and is looking for a special home to call her own.

Holly gets along with other dogs, but so far does not play with them. She very definitely prefers her foster mom to any of those four-legged creatures in the home. Holly is reliably housebroken and very calm. She will follow you around and lay at your feet. She is never a pest and does not jump on you or whine for attention. She just gives you her special soulful look with those big brown eyes.
Holly has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for heartworms. She is very close to a non-shedder, too. You can tug at her fur and you might get 2 or three hairs if you pull hard. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
