My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco is a sweet 5 yr old, 11lb Bichon Frise who gets along with everyone. She is very companionable — she follows her foster mom everywhere and also enjoys hanging out with the dad and the teenage boy in her foster home. She loves playing with squeaky toys, and especially enjoys games of wrestling and tug-of-war with her Chihuahua foster sister. She is untested with cats, but is a very gentle soul so would probably be OK.

Coco is up for any and all adventures. She loves going for walks, doing errands, and riding in the car. At night, she sleeps quietly on her dog bed or snuggled up next to the humans if allowed. If you are watching TV she will want to be right next to you or in your lap.

Coco is 100% house trained and crate trained, although she does not love being crated. She has good household manners so should not need to be crated after an initial adjustment period. She is a very loving little dog who make be a wonderful friend and companion.

Coco came to us with mammary tumors which we removed during her spay surgery. Unfortunately the biopsy came back showing that they were malignant. It also showed some cancer cells in her lymph nodes. Her prognosis is unknown but for now she is healthy and showing no signs of illness. Coco is up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee will be waived for the right adopter. Please email us at baystatedogs@yahoo.com or send in an application which can be found on our website at www.baystatedogs.com.
