My story

It was thought that Bruce would need to go to a barn because he wasn’t socializing. He was so fearful the only time we could get him briefly close was to offer treats. By integrating him with the other cats, he learned to socialize by observing them– he would venture over while another kitten was being petted and he would sit very close to that kitten and then allow us pet him. He reached a milestone this weekend when, on his own, he approached us and snuggled in our arms on the bed. Sudden movements still frighten him and he will still shy away when approached but this little dude is making wonderful progress!

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Bruce's adoption fee is $100 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
