Here's what the humans have to say about me:
6 year old Bart was accepted into our rescue just before the holidays. His Mom had just returned from deployment to Afghanistan in November but got deployed again in December. He had been fostered while she was overseas but that foster couldn't take him again. We agreed to take him and would have fostered him but she felt it best for Bart to find a fur-ever home that would be more stable. Bart went with us and two of our dogs to visit families up north for Christmas. He traveled well, leashed walked well, behaved beautifully at both houses he visited even with all the excitement. He does bark at new people but there is not a mean bone in his tiny body. Bart had a dental cleaning and 9 teeth extracted one year ago. He is vaccinated and on heart-worm/flea-tick preventatives. He is fully housebroken, obeys commands- come, sit, stay and no. Weighing in at 7 lbs, he is fully grown. He gets along well with other dogs but not cats. He doesn't like loud noises, but we have not observed an negative behaviors. Can you give him a loving home? Please email vivgraves@hotmail.com for adoption application. We would prefer a home with older children. Adoption fee of $250. to help defray care and veterinary costs to approved inside home only.
