My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable terrier mix is approx 6 months old and 11.5 lbs as of 1/17. He was found in a dumpster in an apt complex!! Despite this scary beginning he is just the sweetest little dog. He loves to play, loves his buddies and toys and is just a doll. He still needs some house and leash training and is just a typical playful, mischievous puppy! He may have some Lhasa Apso, Maltese or Cairn Terrier. A DNA test on this dog would be interesting!!! He may not be good for anyone with allergies as he does shed.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
