Dixie's Story...
Hi there! My name is Dixie, and I am a pretty and sweet brown tabby little girl who was born in July 2016. Isn't my little cherub face just irresistible?
I am very laid-back for a kitten and love to hang out just to watch you do all of your work! I am a nice combination of playful and loving. Plus I get along great with other kitties, dogs, as well as, of course, people. I'm anxious to meet you, and I hope you'll scramble down to meet me because I know that my cuteness factor will capture your heart.
Dixie is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Dixie, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at http://www.bustersfriends.org/catadoptionapplication.shtml.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Fort Worth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
