Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Up for adoption: Dixie! Wowsahs ! She's gorgeous ! She can be adopted in Texas and New England.
Dixie is so smart she wanted to write her own bio take it away Dixie:
"Hi - I'm Dixie! Not to brag on myself, but I'm a beautiful, female, black lab who loves to snuggle. I had it a little rough for a while until my foster parents saved me. Because of this I'm a little scared of people I don't know and especially men. Don't worry though, a little love, patience and a nice high "puppy" voice and I'll be your best friend forever. I'm sweet as can be and love little kids (we have a 4 year old at home) and other dogs - my foster brother and sister dogs are my best friends! I really think I'd prefer to be in a home where there is another dog for me to spend time with since it helps me to feel more confident in myself.
I'm not so great on a leash yet, but I love to go on walks. I tend to get anxiety in my kennel, but since I'm such a good dog, my foster parents have stopped making me go in there and let me lounge around the house when they have to leave. We even have a mamma cat who just had her kittens and I'm really good at just looking and not being a naughty dog with the cats. If I do say so myself, I'm pretty great (my foster parents think so too). I can't wait to find my forever home and spend the rest of my life loving you."
Dixie is 2 years old 50 pounds. She is housebroken, spayed, vaccinated and microchip. She also appears to have no problem living life aboard a boat! Apply at www.luckylabrescue.com
