Humphrey was living in the woods and trying to fend for himself for several months, luckily a kind couple spotted him and began feeding him. Despite their best efforts this poor boy was too scared to trust people and they were unable to catch him. A local outreach group offered their help and they were able to get him using a large humane trap. Humphrey was terrified at first but once he was taken to safety and let out it only took him a few minutes before he was showering his rescuers with kisses! This sweet boy is so happy to have been saved and is the biggest lover once he knows you! He can be a little nervous with strangers but he warms up quickly. He's unsure of other dogs and while he might do ok living with another submissive dog he would probably be best as an only pet. He still needs to put on some weight and get adjusted to living the good life but with a little work he will make someone an awesome companion! After what he's been through Humphrey deserves the best life with a family that will love and cherish him forever!
