Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a beautiful 12 week old boxer mix currently weighing 18.2 pounds. She is an absolutley wonderful puppy - gets along well with children and other dogs. So why was she surrendered? The couple bought her from people who had the full blooded mother and supposed full blooded father on site. After purchasing her someone told them the father may not be a pure boxer. She was immediately brought to the shelter as these people want to be breeders and were not sure she was full blooded. How ridiculous - but their loss will be someone's gain because she is a beautiful, loving puppy. She is currently up to date on her vaccinations and worming schedule.and she is the picture of health.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Bartonsville Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
