Here's what the humans have to say about me:
From a Wisconsin puppy mill closure, this sweet girl lived her entire life in a rabbit hutch with wire flooring...along with several of her other 'inmates'. There were 1,200 in all. Thankfully, we were able to rescue her and others from this tragic situation. Due to a rampant infection, Beauty’s little tail needed to be amputated, but that hasn’t done anything except enhance her cuteness. Beauty is a gorgeous tri-color girl who needs a lot of TLC. You see, puppy mill dogs are simply alive to breed for profit...not to be made part of a family or to learn to trust and love humans. She has fears to overcome, just like the others, but with the right person, she will become a fabulous companion. She is generally healthy, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in inviting Beauty into your life, please complete the on-line adoption application (http://www.cascaderescue.org/adoptapp_west.html).
***2-10-9 UPDATE*** Beauty (now named Maggie) loves to cuddle and be petted. She is a quiet beagle (barely barks or whines), not a begger, no separation anxiety while in her crate. She can be in her crate during the day while at work-no problem. She loves to go on walks (is a good walker), loves to play with squeaky toys and chew on bones, loves meal time and treats, is very friendly and lovable. Maggie is still timid around children, but not adults, and she comes to her name. To sum it up, she is not your typical beagle. Maggie is a very sweet, quiet, little lady whose favorite thing to do is sit by your side getting petted.
