Hope's Story...
Hey, I'm Hope! I'm a 2-year-old black female lab mix. I'm a great lady looking for a great home to call my own. I'm good with other dogs, and cats too! I'm also good with kids - I've been living with a 10-year-old and a 14-year-old. I am learning my basic commands and am housebroken. I am also learning to be crate trained. I can be destructive when the trash can be left open and I'm left home alone, so the crate is probably the best place for me when you need to go out or put up the trash can. I also have a little anxiety, so that doesn't help much in those situations. I love going for walks and I do well on a leash. In fact, I love being outside with my foster family we have some fun ranch animals that I like to watch.

I think that about covers the important things, but let's get together to see if we could be the perfect family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Lincoln Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
